The Wall Street Journal ran a showing how the New York City Fire Department (FDNY) is using Toughbook notebooks as the hub for its mobile command centers. The centers, created using valuable feedback from major disasters (including 9/11), use the most advanced hardware, software, wireless and video technologies available.
